Love it or hate it, #GamerGate is one of the internet’s most controversial current events. But what is #GamerGate?

If you’re unfamiliar with #GamerGate, read this excellent article from Mike Cernovich at Danger & Play for a short, yet comprehensive breakdown of the movement. Though #GamerGate has its issues, I think that, at its core, #GamerGate is a positive move. #GG represents freedom of speech, journalistic transparency and liberation from the toxic PC witch hunt that currently dominates modern culture.
