This project involved creating fictional advertisements for a randomly selected product. In addition to imagery, I was responsible for market research, identifying target markets, creating taglines and creating sales pitches.
The Polaroid Zip Printer is geared toward a younger, primarily female audience. Since the printer wirelessly syncs with phones and prints pictures, it’s perfect for printing quick selfies or fun pictures with friends. The photos themselves also feature an adhesive backing, allowing photos to be stuck to any surface as decoration.
This ad campaign features both single-page layouts and two page spreads. The ads highlight the adhesive and decorative nature of the product, along with a paint splatter theme. Coherence throughout the campaign is established though the usage of repeating colors, angles and thematic elements within photos. Happy, smiling teenagers/twentysomethings help to reach out to the target audience and establish a fun image.
